Kentucky State Police are investigating the death of an inmate at the Eastern Kentucky Correctional Complex WEKU
One of the deaths being attributed to the severe winter storm was an inmate at the Eastern Kentucky Correctional Complex. Officials say 48-year-old Marvin Knuckles was part of an inmate work crew removing snow and ice at the prison. The press release issued by the Justice and Public Safety Cabinet said that Knuckles sustained a head injury and was transported to the Appalachian Regional Hospital, where he died.
